I have completed an internship with an occupational therapist. I was able to work for Davis school district with students in elementary, jr. high, and high schools. I interacted with students that have learning and developmental disabilities and introduced interventions that helped the students achieve academically and personally. 

I completed an internship through Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy. This is a boarding school that specializes in transition from residential treatment facilities to prepare students for their next step in life. This experience allowed me to learn how these programs run as well as interventions they conduct to positively impact the students and help prepare them for the real world. 

I have also spent time volunteering at the Vista Center. This is a school for kids that have disabilities. I was able to be a part of developing and implementing student's IEP plans. This plan lays out goals for the student to accomplish. I was able to work with a specific population and see how their lives benefitted as the personal and intentional plans were followed.
